This is nothing new. For twenty years the national team has been unable to qualify. This film documents the Hungarian U-19 Team\u2019s European Championships qualifying tour in Sweden, not long after the adult national team\u2019s painful fiasco. Young Hungarian boys in warm-up suits with the weight of the football myth on their shoulders try their luck in the football-cultured part of Europe. Training, checking out girls, enduring complaints, sightseeing (is that church baroque or art nouveau?), games, goals, and a brainwash at halftime when they can\u2019t beat even a \u201eno-name\u201d team. The dramaturgic span of the three matches is interwoven with discussions about Hungarian football\u2019s crisis and possibilities for renewal, along with images from juniors training workshops that will hopefully help Hungarian football rise from the rut it is stuck
