Previously I had been to Transylvania only once, even then I was just traveling through (beaches of Bulgaria here we come!). This in itself is enough reason to feel a little embarrassed, but what really got to me in the past few years was the fact that my relationship to one of the loudly voiced issues of internal politics of the times, the status law, which included the Hungarian ID – something that has almost become a measurement of our national identity – was quite unclear.I thought that the time had come to lookthis topic straight in the eye.
