The film adapts one of the most horrible events of the Holocaust: the delivery of the deported people to the camps and the days spent in the boxcar. Documentaries, books, and interviews made during the past fifty years seem to omit any concrete descriptions of this journey. Nobody knows – except those involved – what went on beetween these humiliated people during the two or three days in the midst of the terrible circumstances which they were forced into.
