Maradék is a village south of Novi Sad, close to Belgrade. In addition to the majority of Serbian residents there is a minority of Croatians and about 500 Hungarians as well. Our film is a glimpse into the life of these Hungarians as they try to protect their ethnic identity so far away from the motherland as well as the larger masses of Hungarians in Serbia.
