Every summer hundreds of bike messengers from all over the world leave the dangerous city streets that are their workplace and meet up in yet another exotic urban jungle to see who can deliver a package the fastest. In 2001 they invaded Budapest and for a whole week all of the colours of the world competed in the Bike Courier World Championships 2001. Motivated simply by a desire to ride, race and party, these urban primitives formed a sea of spokes, skids and scars that Budapest will not soon forget.
