A small Transdanubian town: for 10-12 years now, the yards of the houses are fi lled with objects considered junk in Western Europe. However, these electronic goods, skis, bicycles, etc. are considered „highly desired” by Hungarians. The gypsy community of the settlement basically makes a living from „junking,” meaning, they import treasures considered junk in the West and pass it on as valuable second-hand goods in the East.
